This section of the Christian Kiddo Knowledge Base answers questions about accessing and using the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal, including account access, devices, videos, interactive digital exercises, PDFs and printables, and troubleshooting.
The Learning Portal brings Christian Kiddo’s digital learning content together in one browser-based place, while printable resources support hands-on learning away from the screen.
Learning Portal & Digital Content
Account & Access
Do I need a Christian Kiddo account to access my products?
Yes. Access to purchased Christian Kiddo products is connected to your Christian Kiddo account.
If you are not already signed in, Shopify may ask you to verify your account with a short code sent by email or SMS. Once you are signed in, you can open your purchased products through the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal and return to them later through your account.
Is Christian Kiddo an app or a game?
Christian Kiddo is not a separate app or a game. Christian Kiddo products are accessed through the browser-based Christian Kiddo Learning Portal on the website.
Inside the Learning Portal, families can watch videos, use interactive digital exercises, and access the other digital learning content included with their purchased products.
There is no separate Christian Kiddo app or software to download.
What devices can we use with the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal?
The Christian Kiddo Learning Portal can be used on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers through a web browser.
A tablet can be especially comfortable for interactive activities that involve tapping, moving objects, drawing, coloring, or tracing with a finger or stylus. On a laptop or desktop computer, children can use a mouse or trackpad.
Phones can also be used, although the smaller screen may be less comfortable for some interactive activities.
Videos stream through the Learning Portal and can also be cast to a TV when families prefer to watch together on a larger screen.
What if I lose the email with the access link?
No problem. The access email is not the only way to return to your purchased Christian Kiddo products.
You can sign in to your Christian Kiddo account and open your purchased content through the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal.
If you have trouble signing in or cannot find your purchase, please contact us at info@christiankiddo.com and we’ll be happy to help.
Videos
How long are the videos?
Video lengths vary across Christian Kiddo products and depend on the type of video.
Illustrated story videos are generally about 5–9 minutes long. Short learning videos and activity videos last from just a few seconds to a few minutes, while songs range from about 21 seconds to just under 4 minutes.
Some products also include short phonics, movement, ASL Alphabet, and ASL Numbers videos designed to introduce or practice a specific skill.
Videos are intentionally kept relatively short so they can fit naturally into a child’s daily learning rhythm.
Can we download the videos for offline use?
Christian Kiddo videos stream inside the Learning Portal and are not available for download.
Are the previews the same as the content in the Christian Kiddo products?
Yes. The preview pages use real examples from Christian Kiddo products so you can see how the learning experience works before purchasing.
Preview videos are actual illustrated story videos or other learning videos from the products. Interactive exercise previews use the same type of exercises found inside the Learning Portal, but the preview versions are intentionally limited to a small number of examples.
This lets families try the experience without giving access to the full sequence, variety, or progression included in the product.
Do the preview videos include transcripts?
Yes. All preview videos include subtitles and a written transcript that can be opened directly on the page. For the longer illustrated story video examples, a downloadable, visually formatted PDF transcript is also available.
Inside the Christian Kiddo products, videos do not include subtitles so the screen can stay simple, uncluttered, and child-friendly. A written transcript is always available separately below the video. For illustrated story videos, a visually formatted PDF transcript with character images is also available in a PDF viewer inside the Learning Portal.
This keeps the child’s viewing experience calm while still making the spoken content available in written form for families who need or prefer it.
Interactive Exercises
What are the interactive digital exercises?
Christian Kiddo includes interactive digital exercises that let children actively practice what they are learning inside the Learning Portal.
Depending on the product, children may practice ABCs, letter names and sounds, counting, number sense, and early math through activities that respond to what they do on the screen.
The exercises are part of the digital learning experience and replace the need for printable worksheets for the main ABCs and 123s practice.
How do children interact with the exercises?
The type of interaction depends on the activity. Children may tap or choose an answer, move objects such as beads on a rekenrek, or use a finger or stylus to draw, color, and trace directly on the screen.
Drawing activities include simple on-screen controls such as Start, Stop, an eraser, and color choices. Other interactive exercises use clear audio prompts to guide children through the activity and include parent settings that allow parents to adjust the practice to what their child needs to work on.
Which devices can we use for the interactive exercises?
Interactive exercises can be used on phones, tablets, and computers.
For children, a tablet is often the most comfortable option because it provides a larger touchscreen for tapping, moving objects, drawing, coloring, and tracing with a finger or stylus. Families can also work together on a laptop or computer using a mouse or trackpad.
The exercises are also designed to work on phones, although the smaller screen may be less comfortable for longer learning activities.
Do we need to download or install anything to use the interactive exercises?
No. The interactive exercises run directly in your browser inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal, so there is no separate app or software to download.
After purchase, simply log in to your Christian Kiddo account and open your product. If you are not already signed in, Shopify may send a short verification code by email or SMS to securely confirm your login.
An internet connection is needed to access and use the interactive exercises.
PDFs & Printables
What PDFs are included, and can I download them?
Christian Kiddo products may include PDF resources such as DIY learning posters, coloring pages, banners, Mega Checkies, and other creative or supporting printables.
The main ABCs and 123s learning activities are interactive digital exercises inside the Learning Portal rather than printable worksheets.
Printable PDFs can be downloaded and printed at home. Illustrated story videos also include a visually formatted PDF transcript with character images that can be viewed inside the Learning Portal. These PDF transcripts are provided for viewing inside the Learning Portal and do not include a download option.
How much printing is involved?
Printing varies by Christian Kiddo product. Some resources, such as DIY learning posters, coloring pages, banners, and Mega Checkies, are designed to be printed and used as part of the learning experience.
The main ABCs and 123s practice does not rely on printable worksheets. These learning activities take place through interactive digital exercises inside the Learning Portal.
Some projects, such as a full alphabet and number banner, may use more pages, but these are occasional creative projects rather than worksheets that need to be printed for every lesson.
