Product Walkthrough
A product walkthrough will be added here as the 123s Bundle continues to take shape.
The 123s Bundle begins with Start Here, the Christian Kiddo songs, and the Nine Basic ASL Signs.
The Learning Portal also includes four interactive rekenrek sections:
- 5-Bead Rekenrek
- 10-Bead Rekenrek
- 20-Bead Rekenrek
- 100-Bead Rekenrek
These activities are grouped together in the portal so families can easily find and revisit the different rekenrek experiences. They are not a required sequence that children need to complete before beginning the number-by-number learning.
The bundle also moves through the numbers individually, beginning with zero.
Each number follows a recognizable learning rhythm:
- Story
- Number Dance
- ASL Number Sign
- Exercises | Ages 3–5
- Exercises | Ages 6–7
The structure stays familiar from number to number, while the activities are adapted for the two learning stages and gradually introduce new number and early-math experiences.

The rekenrek activities are grouped into four sections inside the Learning Portal — 5-Bead, 10-Bead, 20-Bead, and 100-Bead Rekenrek — so families can easily find and revisit the different activities. They are not a required sequence that children need to complete before beginning the number-by-number learning.
Each rekenrek activity also includes parent guidance and settings inside the Learning Portal. These explain what the activity practices, how to explore it together with your child, and where available, how parents can adjust parts of the activity to better match their child’s current readiness.
Across the rekenrek sections, children explore counting, quantities, visual number patterns, moving beads, and early addition and take-away in gradually expanding ways.
After the rekenrek previews, you can also explore digital number exercises adapted for the two Christian Kiddo learning levels.
Interactive 5-Bead Rekenrek
The 5-Bead Rekenrek introduces children to small quantities through seeing, counting, and moving beads. Try one real example from each 5-bead rekenrek lesson, including counting, recognizing groups, moving beads, and early addition and take-away.
Interactive 10-Bead Rekenrek
The 10-Bead Rekenrek gives children more room to explore quantities within ten. Try one real example from each 10-bead rekenrek lesson, including counting, recognizing groups, moving beads forward and back, and simple addition and take-away.
Interactive 20-Bead Rekenrek
The 20-Bead Rekenrek introduces a second row and gives children new ways to look for structure instead of counting every bead one by one. Try one real example from each 20-bead rekenrek lesson, including recognizing quantities, looking for groups and patterns, moving beads to create helpful groups, moving beads back, and exploring connected addition and take-away equations.
Interactive 100-Bead Rekenrek
The 100-Bead Rekenrek extends familiar rekenrek ideas to larger numbers. Try one real example from each 100-bead rekenrek lesson, including exploring larger quantities, seeing number relationships across rows and tens, moving beads to change a quantity, and applying familiar addition and take-away patterns to larger numbers.
Digital Trace, Color & Write Numbers
The digital number exercises give children opportunities to recognize, trace, color, and work with numbers directly inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal.
The examples below show how number practice is adapted for the two learning levels.
Ages 3–5 — Zero
Children explore the shape of zero through tracing and coloring, then practice recognizing zero among other numbers.
Ages 6–7 — Zero to Five
Children practice forming the numbers 0–5 by following dots and arrows, then use what they know to write the missing numbers in a number sequence.
Stories from the Phewie-Power Family
Preview stories from the 123s Bundle will be added here when they become available. The stories continue the everyday life of the Phewie-Power Family while numbers, counting, early math, faith, and family moments become part of their next learning adventure.
Number Dance
Number Dance will bring movement into number learning inside the 123s Bundle.
Children will be invited to explore number shapes through simple whole-body movement before meeting those same numbers again in ASL number signs and interactive digital exercises.

ASL Number Signs 0–20

Mommy: Water: To sign water, you make a “W” with your fingers and tap it on your chin. It’s like you’re saying, sip sip, water time!
Christi: Look Mommy, sippie, sippie!
Mommy: Yes: To sign yes, your hand becomes a tiny happy head that nods up and down. Just a sweet little “yes, yes, yes!”
Christi: Look, Mommy, my hand is nodding! Heehee!
Mommy: Time: To sign time, you tap the top of your wrist — right where a watch would be. Just a tiny tick-tock!

Supporting Resources
The 123s Bundle includes supporting resources for both children and parents alongside the interactive digital learning experience.
Families can create three DIY learning posters, with guidance showing how the individual pages can be assembled and used together.
The bundle also includes an ASL Numbers Parent Guide with visual guidance for the ASL number signs from 0–20.
Inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal, parents can also find guidance connected directly to the learning activities. Each type of rekenrek exercise includes parent information explaining the purpose of the activity and how to explore it together with their child. Additional parent settings and guidance are available where relevant.

Christian Kiddo Songs
Music is woven throughout the Phewie-Power Family stories, with songs supporting faith, learning, family moments, and the different experiences Christi and Uzzi walk through together.
The 123s Bundle includes familiar Christian Kiddo songs alongside songs connected specifically with numbers and rekenrek learning. Other songs connect with family storylines that continue across Christian Kiddo experiences, including the Pregnancy Countdown.
In this way, familiar songs can return while new music becomes part of the growing Phewie-Power Family world.

Does my child need to know how to count?
No. Children do not need to know how to count before starting the 123s Bundle.
The bundle introduces numbers and quantities through illustrated stories, Number Dance, songs, ASL number signs, interactive exercises, and rekenrek activities. Children can begin by noticing small quantities, becoming familiar with numerals, counting objects and beads, and discovering simple number patterns.
As their understanding grows, they can explore larger quantities and more advanced number relationships at their own pace.
There is no required starting level. Parents and caregivers can follow their child’s readiness and repeat or explore activities as often as helpful.
My child already counts to 20 or 100 — is the 123s Bundle still a good fit?
Yes. Being able to count to 20 or even 100 is an important skill, but counting numbers in order is only one part of early math.
The 123s Bundle also helps children explore what numbers represent and how they relate to one another. Through interactive rekenrek activities and other exercises, children can work with quantities, recognize groups of 5 and 10, notice patterns, combine and separate amounts, and discover different ways to build the same number.
Depending on their readiness, children can also explore tens and ones, larger numbers up to 100, early addition and subtraction, and make-10 thinking.
So a child who already counts confidently can still use the 123s Bundle to deepen their number sense and develop a more flexible understanding of how numbers work.
Do parents need to help their child use the 123s Bundle?
Yes. The 123s Bundle is designed to be used together with a parent or caregiver.
Inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal, parents can help their child get started, read instructions when needed, and guide them through new types of activities. Written transcripts are available below videos for parents who would like to read along or revisit the spoken content. Families may also be able to cast or mirror videos to a TV, depending on their device and setup.
Learning also continues away from the screen. Parents and children can sing songs, practice Number Dance, color, use the DIY learning posters together, and explore numbers in everyday life. Families can also use a physical rekenrek alongside the digital activities if they have one. The Checkie System on the posters gives families a simple way to see which numbers and skills are becoming more familiar over time.
The Learning Portal is ad-free and designed as a child-friendly environment, but a parent or caregiver should still stay nearby while a young child is using a phone, tablet, or computer.
Is the 123s Bundle a homeschool curriculum?
No. The 123s Bundle is not a full homeschool curriculum.
It is a structured, faith-based supplement that supports number sense and early math through illustrated story videos, interactive rekenrek activities, Number Dance, ASL number signs 0–20, songs, and interactive digital exercises. Children explore numbers and counting up to 100, while building understanding of quantities, number relationships, and early addition and subtraction.
Families can use the 123s Bundle alongside a homeschool curriculum or regular schooling.
