Christian Kiddo ABCs Homeschool Bundle (Ages 3-7)

The 26 illustrated story videos include seven Christian Kiddo songs, which you can also listen to separately in the Songs section inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal or on the ABCs Bundle Preview page.

Two of the songs have a second version — one with a playful lyric twist, and one in a xylophone version.

Some songs are fully original compositions written and composed by Linda Paalman. Others are lovingly arranged or adapted from traditional melodies (public domain), with new lyrics and arrangements created for the Christian Kiddo learning world.

Each video includes on-screen text, so you can sing along together. We hope deaf children and their families can sign along and join in too.

In addition to the ASL alphabet, the bundle includes a video with nine basic ASL signs, such as hi, dance, water, and bye. ASL signs are used by the Phewie-Power Family in their stories because Christi's best friend Naira is Deaf.

This creates a natural way to include Deaf awareness and helps children feel more familiar with signing when they meet a Deaf child or adult. You can learn more on our ASL & Deaf Awareness page.

From A to Z, the Phewie-Power Family shares an illustrated story video that takes you into their daily family life. Each story is narrated by Linda at a gentle pace, creating the feeling of being read to — just like a bedtime story.

Listening to stories helps children grow in language and imagination, while parents and children can simply enjoy the moment together. Read-aloud stories are known to support early literacy and a child's love for language.

You will hear Christian Kiddo songs throughout the stories, and in scenes where Christi's best friend Naira and her Mommy join in, basic ASL signs are used (as part of the Nine Basic Signs).

On the left, you see the character who is speaking, and on the right, an expressive Emoji emphasizes what is happening.

Each story highlights five keywords. For example, A is for: Ant, Aah-CHOO!!, Ask, Aww, and Adam. The last word is connected to an expressive Emoji — for Adam, the Emoji is holding up his hand to look, just like Adam needed to look carefully when he named the animals. The same Emoji also appears on the DIY posters alongside the keyword.

The main keyword for each letter — the one that appears on the DIY posters — follows the same pattern across all 26 letters: A is for Adam, B is for Bible, C is for Christi, D is for David, E is for Esther the queen, F is for Family, G is for Goliath, H is for Heaven, I is for I–hi-hi-hi!, J is for Jonah, K is for King of Kings, L is for Love, M is for Money, N is for No, O is for Oopsie, P is for Pray, Q is for Question, R is for Rest, S is for Sarah-Sheep, T is for Trust, U is for Uzzi, V is for Video, W is for Water, X is for Xerxes the king, Y is for Yes, Z is for Zacharias.

Tracing letters in the air is something many children already experience. We gently expand on this by inviting children to make small or big movements and discover their own style. That's why we call it Letter Dance.

Each letter includes a short video where your child can learn the letter name and its sound (phonics) in a simple and clear way. You can watch an example in the product videos.

In the stories, Christi can already sing the Twinkle, Twinkle ABCs, while Uzzi is still learning the letter names step by step.

His DIY ABC Names poster hangs on the bathroom door, where he marks a checkie each time he says a letter name after Mommy or Daddy — and when he can say it all by himself.

Christi's DIY ABC Sounds poster hangs on her bedroom wall, where she practices repeating letter sounds and marking her checkies as she grows more confident.

These short videos support that learning rhythm, helping children hear, repeat, and remember each letter at their own pace.

The ABCs Bundle also includes two interactive quizzes inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal: the ABCs Name Quiz and the ABCs Sound Quiz.

In the ABCs Name Quiz, children listen to a letter name and choose the matching letter.

In the ABCs Sound Quiz, children listen to a sound and choose the letter — or letters — that can make that sound.

The quizzes give children another way to practice what they hear in the Letter Name & Sound videos, moving from listening and repeating to recognizing and choosing an answer for themselves.

Families can revisit the quizzes whenever extra practice is helpful.

In these videos, your child is introduced to the ASL alphabet (fingerspelling) in a simple and clear way, while becoming familiar with each handshape.

There is no need to complete every activity for one letter before moving on. Children can return to stories, videos, and interactive exercises whenever more practice or repetition is helpful.

Printing varies by Christian Kiddo product. Some resources, such as DIY learning posters, coloring pages, banners, and Mega Checkies, are designed to be printed and used as part of the learning experience.

The main ABCs and 123s practice does not rely on printable worksheets. These learning activities take place through interactive digital exercises inside the Learning Portal.

Some projects, such as a full alphabet and number banner, may use more pages, but these are occasional creative projects rather than worksheets that need to be printed for every lesson.

ASL is included to support multisensory learning, communication, accessibility, and Deaf awareness, rather than as a complete ASL language course.
