Introducing the ABCs Bundle

Hi, welcome to our store 💛

We combined this page with videos and pictures so you can have a look inside the ABCs bundle.

Would you like to see a few real pages from the bundle?

You can download a small set of preview pages that include examples of the exercises and the DIY posters (ABC Names, Letter Sounds, and ASL Alphabet).

⬇ Download the ABCs Bundle preview pages (PDF)

In Video 1, we show you how everything is organized:

  • Start Here (including 6 PDFs)
  • Songs
  • Nine Basic ASL Signs

The ASL alphabet fingerspelling is included as one of the learning layers inside the ABCs Bundle — it is not a separate product.

Then for each letter, you'll find the same simple rhythm:

  • Story A
  • Letter Dance A
  • Name & Sound A
  • ASL Sign A
  • Exercises A

We explain each part in more detail below — including how the Phewie-Power Family guides your child throughout the bundle, with Jesus at the center.

To keep the bundle simple and easy to use, everything is organized inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal on our website. After your one-time purchase, you will receive an email with an "Access Content" link that takes you directly to the portal.

You can also return anytime by logging into your Christian Kiddo account and opening your order. From there, click the "Access Courses Portal" button to enter the Learning Portal. The portal runs directly in your browser on phones, tablets, and computers, so there is no extra app to download.

Inside the Bundle, you can:

  • Stream all videos directly (no large downloads required)
  • Cast videos to your TV
  • Read full transcripts
  • Download PDFs to your device (each file typically ranges between 3–15 MB)

Why the ABCs Bundle was created

Learning the alphabet is part of everyday life for young children. But their world is bigger than letters alone. Children learn many things while being part of their family and daily routines.

To place the alphabet within that familiar world, the Phewie-Power Family guides children through the ABCs in illustrated story videos about their everyday life.

Within these stories, letters appear naturally through songs, movement, sounds, and simple activities. Listening, repeating, speaking, singing, tracing, dancing, and signing all work together as multisensory learning layers.

The ABCs Bundle is the first step in this growing learning world. The next Christian Kiddo bundle will focus on learning the 123s, including simple math under 20.

After that, we plan to create annual Summer Break editions — bringing together the ABCs, 123s, ASL, stories, songs, movement, and fun games, with the Phewie-Power Family guiding children along the way.

Ages 3–5 & 6–7 (Pre-K and Kindergarten)

Let's start with the learning stages. For Uzzi's age (3–5), the focus is on learning and singing the letter names, recognizing them, and beginning to trace them. For Christi's age (6–7), letter sounds and lowercase tracing are added.

For ages 3–7, we introduce letter tracing in the air — we call it Letter Dance — so each child can feel free to make small or big movements. This extra sensory layer helps their brain remember. And for children who like to go a step further, we also help them learn the ASL ABCs.

The beauty of ASL is that even when the sign doesn't look like how you would write the letter or move it in Letter Dance, making the sign activates the brain. Altogether — listening, repeating, speaking, singing, tracing, dancing, and signing — turns the ABCs into a rich, fun, and expressive experience.

Walk Through the Bundle

When you open the bundle, you'll find a Start Here tab with the same video as Video 1 we just talked about. Under that video, you'll find six PDFs that print on standard US Letter (8.5 × 11") and A4 paper.

Three DIY Posters (you can find examples after the product videos):

  • ages 3–5 to learn the letter names
  • ages 6–7 to learn the letter sounds
  • ages 3–7 to learn the ASL alphabet signs

Each poster includes the Christian Kiddo Checkie System.

When a child can say a letter name, sound, or sign after Mommy or Daddy, they can mark a checkie. When they can do it all by themselves, they can mark another checkie. This simple system helps children see their progress as they learn the alphabet.

The posters (22.1 × 33.3 inches / 56 × 84 cm) are in grayscale and made up of nine parts. Your child can color the parts, and we added a guide on how to assemble the poster. A one-page, full-color poster is also included in each PDF and will look cute in a frame.

Videos and Reference PDFs

Each letter includes a Letter Name & Sound video and an ASL alphabet sign video. Below each video, you can find the written transcript, which we also combined into two reference PDFs.

Coloring Pages

As a little gift, the bundle also includes a PDF with eight Christian Kiddo coloring pages.

Seven Christian Kiddo songs

The bundle includes a collection of Christian Kiddo songs with on-screen lyrics, so parents and children can sing along together.

Some songs are fully original compositions written and composed by Linda Paalman.
Others are lovingly arranged or adapted from traditional melodies (public domain), with new lyrics and arrangements created for the Christian Kiddo learning world.

All songs are performed and recorded by Linda. You can watch them all on our Preview Videos page.

Nine Basic ASL Signs

In addition to the ASL alphabet, we made a video with nine basic ASL signs, such as hi, dance, water, and bye. ASL signs are used by the Phewie‑Power Family in their stories because Christi's best friend Naira is Deaf.

This creates a natural way to include Deaf awareness and is meant to help children connect when they meet a Deaf child or adult. You can read more about the role of ASL in the bundle here.

26 Illustrated Story Videos

From A to Z, the Phewie-Power Family shares a special illustrated story video in the form of a dialogue that takes you into their daily family life. Each story is narrated by Linda at a gentle pace, creating the feeling of being read to — just like a bedtime story.

Listening to stories is a powerful way for children to grow their language and imagination, while parents and children can simply enjoy the moment together.

Read-aloud stories are widely known to support early literacy, vocabulary growth, and a child's love for language.

You will hear Christian Kiddo songs throughout the stories, and in scenes where Christi's best friend Naira and her Mommy join in, basic ASL signs are used (as part of the Nine Basic Signs).

The videos have a gentle pace. On the left, you see the character who is speaking, and on the right, an expressive Emoji emphasizes what is happening.

Each story highlights five keywords. For example, A is for: Ant, Aah-CHOO!!, Ask, Aww, and Adam. The last word is connected to an expressive Emoji. For Adam, the Emoji is holding up his hand to look — just like Adam needed to look carefully when he named the animals.

On the DIY posters, the same Emoji appears alongside the keyword.

Each video lasts 5–9 minutes (about 2.5 hours in total). You can watch Story A above — it's Video 2.

26 Letter Dance Videos

Christi loves to dance, and that's why she has 26 short videos where a hand traces each letter in the air. Video 3 is an example.

Writing letters in the air isn't something new, and your child may already have some experience with it. However, we like to broaden it a bit, so children can feel free to make small or big movements and discover their own style. That's why we call it Letter Dance.

26 Letter Name & Sound Videos

In the stories, Christi can already sing the Twinkle, Twinkle ABCs, but Uzzi finds it hard.

His DIY ABC Names poster hangs on the bathroom door, where he can mark a checkie each time he says a letter name after Mommy or Daddy — and when he can say it all by himself.

Christi's DIY ABC Sounds poster hangs on her bedroom wall, and she gets to mark her checkies after repeating letter sounds and when she can say them on her own.

To add some extra help, Mommy also has 26 short videos to learn each Letter Name & Sound. Video 4 is an example.

26 ASL Alphabet Sign Videos

Christi loves having her ASL ABCs poster hanging next to her ABC Sounds poster. Our Deaf Christian Kiddo friend Mercy joins Mommy in 26 short ASL alphabet videos. You can watch an example in Video 5.

26 Exercise PDFs for Ages 3–5

For Uzzi's age (3–5), each letter has two pages of full-color & full-screen exercises (you can find examples after the product videos).

  • Dot-to-dot uppercase letters
  • Coloring missing letter parts
  • Two letter recognition activities
  • Coloring the first letter of the five keywords from the stories

Just a little note:
We recommend using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app, so your child can trace and color on screen with their finger (or a stylus if you like). To help you get started, we made this guide.

If you prefer to print the exercises, the pages may need to be scaled in your printer settings.

26 Exercise PDFs for Ages 6–7

For Christi's age (6–7), each letter also has two pages of full-color & full-screen exercises.

  • Dot-to-dot uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Letter tracing (uppercase and lowercase)
  • Coloring the full five keywords from the stories

Jesus' Phewie-Power

Philippians 4:7 forms the biblical foundation of the Phewie-Power Family: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We see the peace of God as a supernatural power that makes you go: Pheeewie-Heeey! There's nothing like it, and it helps young and old do hard things. You can feel at peace in the midst of a storm.

To make this practical, the Phewie-Power Family discovers that they can ask Jesus for a Phewie anytime. And it can be as simple as Uzzi says it: "Jesus, Phewie?" — and then, tadaaah, there comes Jesus' Phewie that makes him go, Pheeewie-Heeey!

With Jesus' Phewie-Power, Christi and Uzzi learn to eat foods they don't like. The family stays calm in a shopping mall. Uzzi breaks through moments of frustration. The Phewie-Power Song and the song called "I Have a Light Inside of Me" both talk about Jesus' Phewie-Power as well.

If you would like to get to know the Phewie-Power Family, you can find their page here.

How It Fits Into Your Family Life

The ABCs Bundle is meant to be a Christian supplement for homeschooling or alongside regular schooling.

In 10–20 minutes, a child can watch a story, do some Letter Dance, and practice phonics. The exercises may take a little more time and include short cues from the Phewie-Power Family that parents can read to their child.

The bundle invites parents to go on an alphabet journey together with their child. Videos and exercises are designed to be explored side-by-side, creating small moments of connection while children listen, move, and learn.

A parent or caregiver will always be needed to start a video or help guide the exercises.

FAQ

What exactly is the ABCs Bundle?

The ABCs Bundle is a digital Christian alphabet learning experience for children ages 3–7 (Pre-K and Kindergarten), built around the everyday life of the Phewie-Power Family.

Children explore each letter through illustrated story videos, movement (Letter Dance), phonics, ASL alphabet signs, and exercises designed for two learning stages (ages 3–5 and 6–7).

The bundle is designed as a calm, multisensory learning rhythm that families can explore together at their own pace — it is not a full homeschool curriculum.

Is the ABCs Bundle a homeschool curriculum?

No. The ABCs Bundle is not a full homeschool curriculum. It is meant as a supplement to homeschooling or regular schooling.

Does my child need to know how to read?

No. The ABCs Bundle is designed for early learners. Children explore letters through stories, sounds, movement, and exercises while a parent guides the experience. Reading is not required to begin.

What if my child already knows some letters — or is just beginning?

The bundle is designed to work for different starting points. Younger children may focus on recognizing letter names and shapes, while older children can explore individual sounds and more precise letter tracing.

Families can move through the alphabet at their own pace.

Do we need to complete everything in order?

No. Families can move through the bundle at their own pace. For the story flow, starting at the beginning is recommended. However, the alphabet itself can also be explored in any order.

Can multiple children in a family use the bundle?

Yes. The bundle is designed for families, so siblings can explore the videos and activities together. Because the exercises include two learning stages (ages 3–5 and ages 6–7), children of different ages can use the bundle at the same time. Parents can guide the activities and adapt them to each child's pace.

How much screen time is involved in the ABCs Bundle?

The ABCs Bundle combines short videos with offline activities. Most videos are brief learning moments, ranging from about 5 seconds to around one minute, while the illustrated story videos are about 5 to 9 minutes long.

The DIY posters also create moments for offline learning. For example, after watching the Letter Dance videos (tracing letters in the air), children can sing the ABC song while practicing their Letter Dance movements.

Do I need to print the PDFs?

No. The exercise PDFs are designed for digital use on a phone, tablet, or computer. Children can draw and color directly in the pages using a PDF reader app. If you prefer, you can still print the exercises, but they are designed for full-screen use.

The bundle also includes reference PDFs, DIY posters, and coloring pages. These are designed so they can easily be printed at home, including in black and white.

Is this a full ASL course?

No. Christian Kiddo bundles introduce the ASL alphabet (fingerspelling) as a learning layer. They do not teach full ASL vocabulary or grammar. ASL is included to support early learning and Deaf awareness.

Are Christian Kiddo products suitable for Deaf or Hard of Hearing families?

For parents who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (HoH), written transcripts under the videos help them understand the content.

For children who are Deaf or HoH, parents can help by signing, using headphones, or explaining the stories together. The illustrated videos also show clearly which character is speaking, and expressive emojis help emphasize the scene.

What devices can we use this on?

The bundle can be accessed on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers through your Shopify account. Videos stream directly in your browser and can also be cast to a TV.

The exercise PDFs can be opened in most PDF apps. For drawing and coloring we recommend the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app.

How long do we have access?

This is a one-time purchase with long-term access. Access is not limited to a specific time period. Families can return to the Learning Portal anytime as their child grows, revisits letters, or progresses to the next stage.

Are Christian Kiddo bundles physical products?

No. Christian Kiddo bundles are digital learning products. Nothing is shipped physically. After purchase, families receive instant access through their Shopify account and can open their bundle inside the Christian Kiddo Learning Portal.

Can I use this for a classroom, church, or group?

This bundle is licensed for personal and individual family use (including homeschool settings). Not for classroom or group distribution.

Does Christian Kiddo offer refunds?

No. Christian Kiddo sells digital products with instant access after purchase, so refunds are not available. We encourage families to watch the preview videos before purchasing to see if the bundle feels like a good fit.

If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, please contact us — we're happy to help.
